The Undergraduate Research Scholars (URS) Thesis is a professional document that reflects the culmination of your novel and unique research project.
It is expected that team members have equal writing responsibilities.
Applications, Progress reports, Public Presentations, Presentation Reports and Final Thesis submissions are required of each team member.
team members must individually complete both part 1 and part 2 of the URS Application.
We recommend that all team members submit both parts at the same time in a single sitting!Additionally, faculty advisors will have to individually approve each team member's application.We encourage you to write your answers in the URS Application Part 1 Planning Template and cut and paste them into the online form. NOTE: Applicants who have not graduated with a bachelor's degree in history from a program that includes an historical methods and/or senior seminar course(s) will be required to demonstrate critical reading, interpretive and writing skills by submitting a two to three (2-3) page typed essay over a topic provided by the history graduate adviser Deadlines: * This essay will also be treated as a formal writing sample.On February 26, 2020, LAUNCH: Undergraduate Research will hold its third annual Undergraduate Research Scholars Symposium in the Memorial Student Center on the campus of Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas.Discuss the appropriate template with your faculty advisor.Download the template that’s right for you on our Resources page. Teams can be 2-5 students working on a common thesis document under the same Texas A&M faculty advisor, but each member must be responsible for individual contributions to the project.
