Applicants who do not achieve the minimum score in any one section will be denied based on test score deficiency.There is one exception to this requirement for applicants who have not completed both A&P courses at the time of testing and do not achieve the 75 percent minimum score.
While programs that contain Teacher Certification Preparation courses do not have any additional entry requirements, there are specific requirements students will need to complete before entering into the Certification Preparation portion of these degrees.

Note: The average cumulative score for most admitted students is 90 percent or higher.
Score Reporting Scores MUST be sent from Elsevier directly to the HSC College of Nursing and received no later than the published deadline.For those who register to take the exam through the link above, scores will be received electronically within 24 hours of the date of the exam.Those who opt to take the exam through another nursing school must plan ahead and take the exam at least two to three weeks before the deadline in order to allow time for results to be sent from Elsevier to the college.These applicants may be allowed to move forward in the admissions process as long as they achieve a minimum cumulative score of 82.(Calculate this by averaging the five sections: math, anatomy and physiology, reading comprehension, grammar and vocabulary).Please consult the Texas A&M University Transfer Course Equivalency page to search for more specific information.Consult the transfer guide for the specific major you hope to transfer into.Once submitted, the Admissions Review Committee evaluates the information provided and responds with a determination of whether the applicant may continue with the admission process at A&M-Central Texas.It is important to note an affirmative answer will not necessarily result in a negative admissions decision.Some undergraduate degree programs at A&M-Central Texas have additional entry requirements separate from general admission.Students admitted to the university who have yet to be formally admitted to one of these programs may be eligible to enroll in certain coursework; however, the number of courses a student may complete prior to official program entry may vary by department.
