The SIGSOFT Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation Award is presented annually to the author of an outstanding doctoral dissertation in the area of Software Engineering.
Dissertations may be on any topic of relevance to Environmental and Resource Economics.
Dissertations must have been written as part of a graduate course of study at an accredited academic European institution and defended in the calendar year preceeding the year in which the award is announced.
Nominations are to be submitted electronically to Andrea Katona, senior assistant at the Office of the Pro-Rector for Social Sciences and Humanities, at [email protected]([email protected]) by May 18 (Friday) to be evaluated by the University Doctoral Committee.
The awards are presented at a special ceremony on the day of graduation.
Awards are distributed each year at Graduate Student Day.

Graduating students will also be listed in the official Commencement booklet and may also be recognized during their College/School Commencement ceremony.
Each college/school may nominate one finalist to the University award competition.
Only one nomination is allowed per college/school and must be submitted by the Associate Dean for Graduate Studies, or their designee, via the Drexel Funding Portal (Info Ready) by Friday, April 12, 2019.
